Food included with ticket purchase.Medieval Times Dinner Tournament Birthday Discount (Think inside rodeo) Get there at least an hour in advance, stand by your night on the wall bc that's where you enter the arena & it's first come, first serve. It's horses & fighting going on in a dirt arena. Lights go off & on your seat during the show & it can be loud. Wait after the show to get a picture with your knight. There isn't a bad seat in the house, so don't be afraid to get regular seats. * you can sign up in get in free on your birthday just try their website. This is something you have to try at least once. Half a chicken, ribs, half potato, soup, cake, pastry! Meal fit for a king. Once seated you enjoy a fabulous show & get a hefty helping of food. You get a chance to take a picture with the king, visit with him, buy drinks adult or children's, look at swords, look at horses, or buy your knight or princess stuff. The staff is very welcoming & in character. * actual review- from the moment you walk through the door you are taken back in time. ( oh my) thank you staff for such an incredible experience. They cheered, cried ( when our knight lost) & flirted. This will go down as one of my favorite memories every. Seeing the show through their eyes melted my heart. One is 7 soon to be 8 & the other is 4 she will be 5 in March. We added the celebration package & brought our two girls for their first time. It cost a lot of money especially if you add a package. Our school use to take us & I loved it so much I took my husband for the 1st time a few years ago. I've been going to this place since middle school. * You are given an envelope at the end of show for Gratuities. * The rest of the seats still have a good view. Your mainly paying to sit in the very fron, which was worth it for us. * Kings package comes with front row seats, plastic flag to cheer, nice pics for everyone in your party, and programs. * Not for kids under 3yrs old - it's very loud and the show is about 2 hrs. * Food portions are big (Soup, toast, half roasted chicken, potato, and a desert). * Seating can be a bit tight if your a bit heavy. * Sword w/light $13, lighted Rose $5, flags to cheer $5. * There are 2 huge bars inside the castle. * Beers $8, come with souvenir cup (they dont tell you it comes w/souvenir cup so you can buy the more expensive one). * If you have kids, hold on tight to your wallet b/c when you enter the castle, there are plenty of things for them to buy (swords, lights, drinks, toys, shirts). * Parking is free Tips: * No need to get there too early (30-45min before show is adequate). * The front row seats for kings package were awesome. * The horses and sword fights were great. They were captivated by the horses and performances. Pro's: * The entertainment, the amount of food, the quality of food (surprisingly good food), pictures taken, and length of time was well worth the price. Depending on how many kids, I would take an extra $50-100 for toys, drinks, etc. The birthday girl was admitted free, however we had still to pay the $20 to upgrade to Kings package. We bought the Kings package b/c we were celebrating a bday. I was a bit hesitant spending that much money on tickets, but I went ahead and took a chance and splurged. This review is based on 12/31/13 visit, 7 pm show, red team knight was the best !!!!!!!!!!!! Yes-this place is pricey, but it is fun for the entire family and it is an experience you and your kids will not forget.
